Where are the starting and endpoints of the tours?
The start and endpoints vary from each tour, and you will find them under the description of each tour. If we do a tailormade tour for your group, we can find an alternative spot for you to start and end if necessary. It is also possible to arrange a pick-up at the hotel.

What is the duration of a tour?
The standard tours are 1 ½ - 2 hours, except for the Science Tour which is 2 – 2 ½ hours. We do offer tours of any duration you prefer, and they can include stops at cafés or bars if you would like to enjoy a refreshment during the tour. What is the length of a tour?
The length of the tours varies and can be seen under the description for each tour.

Can you help us arrange a visit to a café or restaurant during or after the tour?
Yes of course. We know the city and all the good spots to go for dining, décor, and acoustics.

How big a group can order?
We can accommodate up to 20 people in a group. If more than 20 people, an extra guide will be needed.

Can I order a single ticket or book a tour for small groups
At the moment we only arrange tours for groups, so if you would like to book a tour yourself or for a small group it will be in the form of a private tour. You are welcome to request a private tour at info@insightjourneys.dk.

What if it rains?
The weather in Copenhagen is tricky, and we cannot do anything to stop the rain. As a main rule, we will always do the tour, so bring warm and rainproof clothes. In heavy rain, we can offer to go to a café and tell the stories instead. In very rare cases, like storms or flooding, we can be forced to cancel (full refund).

Can I bring the children on the tour?
We arrange tours for high school students, and it is possible to bring children on the standard tours. But be aware that the tours are targeted at adults, so your very young child might not find it interesting.

What if I need to cancel?
Cancel policy for standard tours:
Up to 7 days in advance: Total refund
From 6 days to 48 hours: 25 % charge as a cancellation fee
Up to 48 hours before: No refund

Cancel policy for special tours:
Up to 7 days in advance: Total refund
From 6 days to 72 hours: 50 % charge as a cancellation fee
Up to 72 hours before: No refund

Are the tours accessible for wheelchair or rollator users?
Many areas in Copenhagen are easy to access by wheelchair or rollators, but especially the old part of the city does have its challenges concerning cobbled stones, stairs, and curbs. Please let us know in advance at info@insightjourneys.dk if you need accessible traveling, and we will do our best to meet your needs.
